Ægir Bryggeri is a brewery/restaurant in Flåm, Norway. The brewery is named after the Norse god Ægir. Ægir brews, according to Odin, the best of beers. The brewery was founded by Aud Melås and Evan Lewis in 2007. The brewery produces craft beers in cans and for the own brewery pub in Flåm. An increasing share of the production is for export. Ægir Bryggeri delivers beer for sale throughout Norway.
Ægir Bryggeri's pub in Flåm is located in a house with a building style, inspired by the Middle Ages in Norway.

Restaurants were encouraged to develop traditional dishes making use of ingredients benefitting from the local region's climate, water and soil. New Nordic Cuisine has been used to promote local, natural and seasonal produce as a foundation for new dishes both at restaurants and in the home. As a result, a number of restaurants, particularly restaurants in Denmark, have introduced local ingredients, some often new to the usual palate, in combination with traditional foods prepared in new ways

Starting from New Nordic cuisine' s philosophy of 'purity, simplicity, and freshness,' Råa set seeks to recreate the essence and traditions of Viking culture in a modern way. The design focuses on exploring local materials and textures, while reinterpreting forms inspired by Viking elements such as horns and longships.
