Rebuilt in 2009 by architect Kengo Kuma, the Nezu Museum harmonizes architecture, art, and nature. Transitioning from the bustling shops of Omotesandō, visitors enter via a serene, bamboo-lined approach. The museum's massive roof and minimalist walls create an instant sense of sanctuary, while the entrance hall’s extensive use of glass seamlessly frames the historic Buddhist statues and the magnificent Japanese garden together.
